People who took our online class during COVID-19 had this to say:
Given the continued need to physically distance and wear masks,
OCEA will continue to offer all classes online until the end of 2020.
We dearly want to support the health of our expectant families.
Aside from all the info provided by the educator, I liked the interaction with other couples
Was great to be in the comfort of your home. At 33 weeks much more convenient to be on your couch, have your own pillow and make yourself comfortable.
Erin was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and kept the class interactive even in the online platform. Very helpful at answering questions and gave a lot of great tips.
Honestly, it was easily one of the best online courses I have taken. The size of the group was perfect. I still felt connected to the instructor and the participants. Lilly did a great job of making us all feel included and part of the class, despite there be a screen between us. I don't have anything bad to say about it.
During such a difficult time to be pregnant (I never thought my pregnancy would be during a pandemic!) it was really nice to come together with other couples in the same boat. Though it wasn't as social as an in class opportunity likely would have been, the sense of community is such a nice feeling.
Julia was an amazing educator and I would highly recommend her and this course to new parents. It was incredibly helpful.
Learning about travel, answering questions related to Covid 19, having her demonstrate baby carriers (I was about to give up on mine before this) and just all of the support for caring for a newborn that we would have otherwise not known.
Julia was an amazing educator and I would highly recommend her and this class to new parents.
She did a great job in making us feel comfortable to ask questions.
Erin was awesome! She took time to ensure ALL questions were answered, nothing was too much trouble and my husband and I feel much more ready for our daughter to arrive having taken this class! Thank you! Xxx
The suggestions for community resources were fantastic. It definitely helps to have a starting point to know what to look for and what questions to ask.
Julia was wonderful. She kept us engaged and created an environment where we felt comfortable asking questions and was very thro with each topic. Highly recommend:)
